The town of Bra is home to the Slow Food movement, the region produces aromatic white truffles, over 200 different cheeses and is the birthplace of modern chocolate.
In Lombardy, Milan offers one of the world's best fashion centres, a beautiful Gothic Cathedral and Leonardo Da Vinci's painting 'The Last Supper'. Visit La Scala opera house and shop in Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel. Outside the cities explore the Italian 'champagne' region of Franciacorta, the race tracks of Monza, the beautiful towns of Padua and Bergamo or head north into the Italian Lakes.
